| Connemaras are an Irish breed that range in height from about 14 to 15 hands. Hardy by nature this breed is not only durable but also very athletic. They are versatile, naturing, and are all heart. They excel in a variety of disciplines. Click for Breed Standards. Big Bear Farm has been raising Connemara ponies since 1982. Our foundation mares and stallions came from old original Connemara lines like Tarzan, Camus John, Coosheen Finn, and many others. Our stallion Fergus has done it all having won at Intermediar Dressage, Preliem Eventing, Hunters, jumpers, and USDF In Hand Competitions. We use our Connemaras in our breeding program, our riding program, and Enoch Ministries, our Equine Assisted Phychotherapy program. Our ponies truly do it all. They compete with us and our students in Dressage, Combined Training, Jumpers, and other enjoyable events. We take then to the beach, and do hunter paces with them. In our breeding program we have found our foals to have a consistantly wonderful disposition, versitile talents, and exstreemly true to the breed. With Enoch Ministries our horses have the opertunity to do what they do best, what they were created for, loving devinly and healing the hearts and minds of many who come. | Vivian Vivian is a 16 hand 2004 Swedish Warmblood mare by Vivaldi. She is extremely athletic. She is used in our ridding. Vivian will be started under saddle in April. |
| Story Teller "Story" is a 17 hand 1998 Dutch Warmblood Mare by Rubinstein. Due to an injury, Story is strictly a broodmare. She is being breed again this spring. |
